in compliance with the Health and Safety Executive’s approved code of practice, “The
Control of Legionella Bacteria in Water Systems,
L8”
The scheduling, management and undertaking of monitoring, maintenance and auditing tasks associated with the control and management of water systems.
Addressing and undertaking remedial actions that can arise from the assessment of water systems. This may include guidance with regards to the most cost-effective solutions for specific problems/situations, cleaning and disinfection of water systems to the approved industry standards, etc.
Bespoke client staff training in legionella management
and related public health issues, including awareness
training and statutory obligations under L8 ACoP.
Employers and building managers have specific responsibilities
with regards to the air quality within any commercial building.
